Hilton & Hyland Helping Hands volunteered Wednesday at the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House for another year by participating in their Meal of Love program, alongside Hearts of Montage, the philanthropic arm of Montage Beverly Hills. The partnership allows Hilton & Hyland agents and staff to give families a night off as they help to prepare dinner, share a meal together, and assist with the clean-up process afterward.
With access to a first-rate group of culinary experts at Montage Beverly Hills, Executive Chef Patrice Martineau helped to prepare meals, alongside Julie Jangali, Executive Pastry Chef. Oscar Fonseca, Executive Soux Chef for the hotel, also prepared the menu and meals for guests. The menu featured braised short ribs, caprese salad, and carrot cake for guests, hand selected by the culinary experts in their respective fields.
“Families often spend all day at the hospital and when they return to the House, they have no energy to make dinner. The children love meeting new people, and the parents appreciate the chance to relax and enjoy the meal—with no dishes to do,” said Cortney DeLotto, Program Services Manager, Ronald McDonald House.
