I have a weakness for fancy real estate. If it’s a Saturday and I’m driving through a nice neighborhood, you can bet your ass that I’m going to find the “open house” sign and I’m going to pull up to that house and I’m definitely going to pretend that I’m an oil magnate fresh off the plane from Oklahoma and ready for his piece of the Hollywood dream. So this new-ish trend of fancy houses not just having websites and super-professional galleries but also promoting themselves with fully produced “movie trailers” is one of my favorite things. As far as I’m concerned, the crazier the trailer, the happier I am. And let’s just say the new trailer for the $100 million, 20,000+-square-foot Opus property in Beverly Hills has me very happy.
